Back the other way
PLEASE READ:
This game is essentially a regular platformer, but you start at the end. Because of this, getting through levels can be easier or harder depending on the situation, with some of them being impossible to do forward. The text (after the first 5 levels) can be misleading and even though its information may sometimes be useful, you have to get through the level on your own because it is really instructions for if the game was from beginning to end.
This is my first game ever and I'm really happy I got to participate in the inbound shovel game jam. I'm not really an artist or a musician so I used a bunch of assets from here, the Unity store, and other sites. I can't credit everyone who made these assets here but I appreciate their work very much.
So, I hope you enjoy this little game!

I liked falling off the cliff and saying "Whee" while doing so.
This is a really cool concept, very creative, the art fits well too. Only the movement that is a bit hard to grasp, when you're in the ground and try to move, you only get a burst of speed and slide through the floor until you stop, so to move more you need to spam the button, same for the air, the diferencethere is you dont come to a stop when pressing a directional, but youre still faster spamming. If it is intentional, it should be explained, maybe in the description, otherwise the first(last?) jump is alredy pretty hard. Other than that, its really a great idea and was well developed, the text was a really awesome addition. Hope this gets the attention it deserves!
Thanks for the feedback! I might try to make the movement smoother after the jam, but I didn't have time before.
The controls are really floaty and the jump seems off. Great idea, but i often found spamming the buttons to be faster than holding it down.
